Hello Aussie Idolers!

Well….its happened again …another sweet 16 yr old through to the final 12 …..young Benji Mckenzie from the Central Coast….and joining him through was another “Central Coaster” called Marty.

Interestingly enough,  tonight we are facing another possible 16yr old girl going through ….young Madison who I felt was the best out of this particular group….but I also suspect that cute quirky and perky Brianna may be another contender to give the others a run for their money.

I’ve have had my eye on Brianna since the Brisbane auditions as something very unique and special although I’m not sure about the song choice tonight as it did not show off the lovely clarity of her voice.

To sum up on the others, I felt Sarah whilst talented offered nothing new to the competition, Morgan was too gothic for my taste, Holly has a good strong voice for sure but not sure about her appeal, and Rosie was cut down pretty hard by the judges a little unfairly I believe.

I’m not sure how you as the public viewed Rosie but think that fact she has done it all before in the UK gets a little old. Speaking of old, I hardly think she looks old at 24 as the  judges commented…perhaps they need to look in their own mirrors

I felt Rosie just carried a maturity about her and a polish that lifes experiences and doing other idol shows have given her.

Hey Aussie Idolers!

Just keep churning out those 16yr olds…….phew!

What with Matt Corby getting through to the final 12 and now we see another sensational talent in Benji who I have had my eye on since the first auditions…… could it be that there is a whole new generation of new stars out there?

It’s exciting to see the babies get some opportunities…..yes 16 is still at the baby stage of life, especially in this industry.

And then we see that young 17 yr old Lana got through in the girls……but wow…was she truly better than Natalie or Cheray?

Tarisai goes without saying…Well done Tarisai………a true star is born!

Never the less, its up to you out there the Australian public to get voting so we are not all in shock week after week………..no use complaining about the choices if we have not done our part, right?

Lol, well tomorrow night should be very interesting with the guys again.

So hard to pick, I really loved Benji and Jack for something a little different……..but Mark and Dave and Marty are all good value. I’m missing one….ummm is he forgetable or is my brain getting tired trying to remember them all?

Well….I will get my act together for Wednesday night eliminations and have more to say then.

My vote for tonight? Benji and Jack!

Hello Aussie Idolers

Well Well Well!

We knew young hot star Matt Corby would get through but how did Jacob Butler beat Daniel Misfud through? Guess his perseverence got public votes…….I do hope Daniel will have yet another opportunity for that boy has got something going for him, don’t you think?

Matt has young star written all over him…he is the total package…looks, talent, youth and a nice personality….what more can one ask for? Good on ya Mattie boy and well done Jacob.

Now as for the females……….that is going to be a hard call to make.

Young Tarisai certainly has the BIG VOICE OF THE CENTURY…….but will that somewhat cocky attitude turn the viewers off? Was Kyle trying to warn her? She seemed sweet when the judges were judging her…but her clips leading up to the performance showed her as a little bit arrogant….I hope the show is not portraying her wrongly…a little cut here and there can make you look bad…thats for sure!

Young Cheray, the kindy teacher sure showed a more sexy side of her performing but will it be enough to get through?

For there is Natalie from Melbourne to beat and she gave a very strong performance as did Sally…great opening to the show.

Jesse from Mildura I felt gave a weak, insipid song choice and performance and therefore brought about mixed judgment from the judges……but at the end of the day its what you think that matters.

Last and unfortunately I think least at this stage,  is young Lana who at only 17,  gave a very hesitant and unconfident performance…..very pretty voice and sweet song but did not have the punch that was needed to beat the other talented ladies…I think better luck next time maybe?

Is it just me, or did you feel there were alot of  “come on” compliments from 2 male judges towards male contestants Sunday night?

Kyle saying to Carl Risely, “Youre a beautiful looking man” ??????????………….and Mark saying to Mr Pirate gone wrong man. Husny “You’re strangely attractive? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm …….is there something the judges are gayly trying to tell us???????? lol………

and Dicko saying to Husney also your intriguing but the viewers wont like you??????

Ummm, excuse me…….but isn’t that for us to judge????????????

I am tending to think that the judges need more of the judgements and comments than the contestants themselves.

Speaking of contestants PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHO YOU LIKE OUT OF THIS WEEKS 6 BEING JUDGED???????

Daniel Misfud is one of my favourites out of the 6…..and I also liked Jacob Butler who Mark called an arrogant prick.

What is Idol coming to?????????

My view is that Mr Pirate man Husney is a try hard but the viewers may actually like the uniqeness but I did not feel he was as talented as the other boys!

Carl has a nice voice but lacks confidence……..Seemed to be missing his trumpet.

Junior was pretty good but did not stand out for me.

and last but certainly not least theres gorgeous 16 yr old Matt Corby in which my daughters are still trying to get over their heart palpitations.

So in summing up, My 2 choices would be MATT CORBY AND DANIEL MISFUD.

Well hello Aussie Idollers!

Were you as shocked as I was when Jordan Paris was knocked out of the competition.

I’m still trying to get my bottom lip off the floor………seriously do the judges not recognise true stardom when they see it???????

That boy can sing plus charm the pants of a kangaroo……….I mean really………what were they thinking of???? to wipe off someone that had entered the australian publics heart and mind immediately……….that guy had it all!!!!!! PHEW!!!!

Wonder if they would consider putting him back in later if there was a public outcry?

Anyways, there was much talent to be considered this year and it was a tough decision as to who to keep and who to rid.

As for me, the oustanding talents (apart from Jordon) were Lyall Adonis, Marty Simpson, Damian Misbud, Natalie on piano and ofcourse……………..my favourite of favourites YOUNG 16 YR OLD MATT CORBY.

My 14 and 13 yr old daughters had heart failure not only at his incredible sensitive singing talent but his looks to die for. What a smile! (wish i was 16 again lol)

He seems like a really nice guy too with humility..Go for it Matty!!!!!!!

Well, cant wait to see us the Australian Public start voting….perhaps we can whip those judges into shape….they sure need it at times!

Hello there Aussie Idollers,

Well we saw quite a few groups, some good and some not so good but sometimes I think its unfair that perhaps one good person gets put with a group that sucks! Like blonde Jasmine in the group with Miss Snottie Darwin girl Jessica. Jasmine deserves a chance don’t u think????????

Obviously we all loved the hottie group with Matt Corby (only 16 so no cradle snatching ladies LOL) and Rosie and Natalie and Marty.

Then there is Lyall Adonis, a real solo professional who will give the others a real run for their money.

Ofcourse, we look forward to Mr SuperStar showman Jordan Paris tomorrow night who has swapped his flash red suit for a bright blue one…..good for him to keep us remembering who he is!!!!!!!!!

But I end with this thought……the opening of the show had the judges pose like a BAD VERSION of men in black……..Marcia ofcourse being lost in the blackness of it all LOL

Do the judges realise we are watching for new talent and not for old has beens who try to pretend they are the experts on it all and maybe need to realise they aint all that ????????????

Especially Kyle who tries to put down every other person to make himself look better? Who is he to call everyone else old? and fat?

Ummmm, has he looked in the mirror lately?

Hey Aussie Idolers, Well this has been a much better week as far as performances go.

Sydney and Melbourne being the major capital cities, seem to have presented us with quite a variety of real talent.

Ofcourse we still see some freaky performances some for the heck of it and some who are quite serious in thinking they have talent. Sad really when you think about it for they set themselves up for public humiliation.

Are there any names that have stuck in your mind?

Any performances that moved you? As they moved Mark Holden?

Perhaps he was needing some moving as he seems quite constipated at times dont u think? LOL

 Anyways, I welcome your thoughts of this week and welcome the names that YOU THOUGHT STOOD OUT.

As for me, a young man named Benji struck me as a little different and special, only 16 yrs of age…may need a bit of polishing up..but what a unique voice and style.

And then ofcourse who could overlook that stunning performance of Lila Mcdonus (sorry about spelling) on his red guitar. What a voice and smile. GO

The guys seems to be shining this year which is great!
